Muddu Sudhakar, is currently leading the Security Analytics division at Splunk. Prior to this he was the CEO at Caspida, a Cyber security and Thread detection Company, which was then acquired by Splunk.
He has a great reputation of being a seasoned and successful entrepreneur. Dr. Muddu founded Cetas in 2010 to solve customer challenges in Big Data, On-line App Analytics and Hadoop Analytics. Prior to Cetas, Muddu was at EMC as the Chief Strategy Advisor for the Information Management group and VP/GM of Cloud Information Services. At EMC, Muddu work focused on Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Information Services and Virtualization architectures.He came to EMC as part of the acquisition of Kazeon in 2009. Muddu was the CEO and Founder of Kazeon which focused in the area of large scale eDiscovery, Enterprise Search, information classification and management, and Information security. Before co-founding Kazeon in 2003, he co-founded Sanera Systems, a next-generation SAN technology company, where he served as president and board member. Sanera was started in 2000 and was acquired by McData in 2003, while McData was acquired by Brocade. Muddu holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. from University of California, Los Angeles and a B.S. from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
