GITPRO World 2016, a confluence of technologists and entrepreneurs, was held on April 23rd 2016 in Palo Alto, CA. In its fifth edition, GITPRO offered 400+ attendees a forum that exposed them to several popular tracks. 25 Speakers with experience at Artiman Ventures, Intel, Uber, eBay, Couchbase and several other esteemed companies shared a wealth of knowledge with the attendees.
Our esteemed keynote speakers came from background like politics, governance, startup Investments and education. The event started with a talk on Make in India by Mr. Venkatesan Ashok, Consul General of India at San Francisco and Mr. Ajit Singh, MG and General Partner at Artiman Ventures.
Our esteemed speakers and panelists covered topics on Big Data, IoT and Cloud, career development and leadership, and entrepreneurship. The most popular topics were on Drones & Fog Computing, Career Development and Big Data. This year, attendees represented attendees used this opportunity to network, share and learn from fellow enthusiasts, investors, our sponsors and hiring managers. Interestingly, 28% of the attendees also showed interest in Entrepreneurship.
The event ended with keynotes from Ms. Jaya Row, a Geeta and Vedanta based coach for professionals, and Mr. Ro Khanna, a teacher, lawyer and politician.
