He is an expert in Social Computing (Social Commerce, Social CRM and Social opinions, Profiling) , Big Data & NoSQL DB, Relevence/ Recommendation engines NLP, Machine learning , Integrations – business process technologies (SOA, BPEL, BPM), Mobile, and cloud computing. He has also participated in industry standards (BPEL, SCA) consortiums like OASIS, filed patents, published articles and delivered talks in conferences like Jax-world, Oracle Open World.

In social / community work:
Founder and Coordinator of GITPRO, Global Professional Network of Indian Tech Professionals. He is a Convener and Director of FIIDS, Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (Washington DC based think tank). Lead many Indo American organizations and volunteers in the Silicon Valley in education field, service and confluence / conferences.
Khanderao holds M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
